Riley & Sons (E) Ltd have announced their newest railtour starring the world famous steam locomotive, 60103 Flying Scotsman.
Flying Scotsman will be hauling ‘The Flying Scotsman Christmas Fellsman’ on Saturday 22nd December 2018.
The tour will head from Manchester to Carlisle via Shap and the Settle and Carlisle line.
Timings for this tour are still to be confirmed, but as soon as they are, we will publish a further article sharing the timings.
We expect (however this could change) that the train will head via Preston, Lancaster, Carnforth, Carlisle, Appleby, Ribblehead, Settle, Hellifield, Clitheroe, Blackburn, and Manchester Victoria.
This is yet another superb chance to see 60103 Flying Scotsman on the mainline, will it be in the snow? We cant gurantee that – but 60103 Flying Scotsman will make the perfect early Christmas present. Contact Riley & Son (E) Ltd for more information.
