  1. I purchased a Bolton to Penzance return, costing £140, on a m ticket. Departing 20/9/18, returning 24/9/18, through Train line using mainly Cross Country. I booked reserved seats where available. I managed to reserve a seat from Manchester Piccadilly to Birmingham New St. At the time of booking the was no availability from Birmingham to Penzance, a 6 hour journey. On the return journey a seats were available on the Penzance to Taunton and Birmingham to Wigan services but no availability from Taunton to Birmingham. A 3 hour journey. After a number of phone calls to Timeline they managed to supply me with paper seat reservations which I collected from Bolton Station. Very poor. I will purchase my tickets from Bolton Station next time.
