The Bahamas Locomotive Society has announced that they have launched a brand new Facebook page.

This will allow you to keep up to date with behind the scenes action about 45596 Bahamas as it re-enters service following an overhaul (due towards the end of 2018). The locomotive will be mainline certified and will also visit heritage railways – so its the place to see photos of its visits.

The are also the custodians of LNWR Coal Tank 1054, which is part of the National Trust and is based a the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.

As well as 1054 and 45596 Bahamas, the Bahamas Locomotive Society also have a variety of other locomotives and rolling stock. They also have a new learning coach, which has recently opened up to the public.

This is a brand new Facebook page, so make sure you head over to their Facebook page and give them some support by giving it a ‘like’.

You can find the Facebook page by clicking here.
