This weekend, the East Lancashire Railway will be holding their annual 1940s weekend from the 26th May until 28th May 2018.

Dust off those dancing shoes and waltz down to Bury for a weekend of glamour and historical entertainment.

Re-enactments will be taking place throughout the weekend, with a Spitfire flyover also featuring in the weekend’s activities.

The locomotives are set to be visiting GWR ‘Hall’ No.6990 ‘Witherslack Hall’ and West Country Class No.34092 ‘City of Wells’ – all subject to availability  – which means you can get your steam fix at the same time!

This fun for all activity is so good, Visit Manchester has put it on its list of 15 must see things to do this weekend!

You can also book now to save 10% on your tickets. Click here to find out more information.
