The Welsh Highland Railway, over on their Facebook page, has announced that the halt at Meillionen Caravan Park will remain closed until the 8th June 2018.

No trains will stop at the halt until it is reopened, with no public access to watch the trains go by either.

The closure is due to the redevelopment of the holiday park, of which the trains run alongside on their journey in or out of Beddgelert.

The holiday park is having cabins installed onto the existing land by Forest Holidays, you will be able to book your camping and caravan pitches later on in 2018.

More information on this is available on the Camping and Caravanning Club website here.

How do I alight or board the train when the station is open?

Once the station is open again, it is a request stop, please let the guard know before boarding, or signal the train to stop (like a bus) to board.
