Train operating companies East Midlands Trains and Virgin Trains East Coast have both been certified as top employers in the UK for the second year running.

The Top Employers Institute globally certifies good employers for the conditions in which they create for their employees.

Both train operating companies are part of the Stagecoach Group. VTEC and EMT are the only two train companies of the 84 UK businesses certified for 2018.

They join the big named brands such as Asda, Harrods, and DHL on the coveted list.

What did the officials say?

  1. What a joke who did they speak to the Directors ? They certainly did not speak to the average employee, all hand picked people I guess, worst employers it has ever been my misfortune to work for.
