This Sunday, Channel 4 will start their new series on The Biggest Little Railway in the World. Dick Strawbridge will be attempting to build the biggest small railway in the world from Fort William to Inverness!

Airing at 8 pm on Sundays, Episode 1 will see the mammoth task begin!

Dick will be joined by a team of railway enthusiasts to make the journey.

Dick will be using model trains to make the 71-mile journey across the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

Every week will see them gain traction towards their end goal.

We are looking forward to seeing yet another train program on the TV. Great for a cold January evening 🙂

  1. Great television. More views of the loco and less of the people please. Will they show a complete run of the line or is it in dribs and drabs?

  2. as a gauge one railway builder, hats of to the team , I have been working on my line for years and it is just round the garden with only five bridges. so I will look forward to the rest of the programs
