On the 11th March 2017, we found ourselves setting off for another day filming at a gala. This time round its the East Lancashire Railway with the Spring Steam Gala – this years gala had a strong Lostock Hall theme.
The gala saw 8F No. 48624 visit for the gala from the Great Central Railway, also visiting the East Lancashire Railway for the Gala were Std 4 No. 76084 (From the North Norfolk Railway) and Black 5s 45212 and 45407 (Courtesy of Ian Riley Engineering Co.).
Joining the visiting locomotives were West Country Class 34092 ‘City of Wells’, BR A Class 52322, LMS ‘Crab’ No. 13065.
