The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway has announced two visiting locos which will be visiting the railway in 2017 for their Winter Steam Gala (3-5th March 2017).

For their Winter Steam Gala, the KWVR will be welcoming LMS Crab No. 13065 (From the East Lancs Railway) and Thompson B1 No. 61264 (Courtesy of the B1 Locomotive Trust).
LMS Crab No. 13065
No. 13065 was originally built in Crewe in 1927. The locomotive is resident at the East Lancs Railway is a frequent sight along the line. No. 13065 is the last steamable LMS Crab in the UK (A none steamable version can be found at the NRM York).
Thompson B1 No. 61264
No. 61264 is a 4-6-0 locomotive built by Edward Thompson in 1947 and ran on the London & North Eastern Railway (Also ran under British Railways). The loco has been resident of the Great Central Railway (1976 – 1997, restoration and testing) and has also been Mainline Certified (working ‘The Jacobite’ for 7 seasons, clocking up 11,000 miles). No. 61264 is now based at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and is frequently seen along the line and on the Loco Roster.
